TALES FROM THE CRYPT is making a comeback.

The horror anthology series is returning to the television airwaves, acting as the centerpiece of a horror block of programming that will be launching on TNT in 2017.

First announced back in January, TALES FROM THE CRYPT has received a 10-episode order for its first new season under the watchful eye of M. Night Shyamalan, who is producing. In addition, a "newly reinvented" Crypt Keeper will be a part of the show to introduce the individual stories that make up each respective episode.

It's been 20 years since the very last TALES FROM THE CRYPT episode ran on HBO, bringing a run of seven seasons and 93 episodes to a close. It feels nice to have this old friend getting ready to pay a visit to our televisions on a weekly basis again.
