4 months ago, the super cool red-band trailer for Shane Black's THE NICE GUYS hit, giving audiences another film to get excited for in 2016. You may have been reminded of it when Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe took the stage together to present at this year's Academy Awards. In any case, the film takes place in the 1970s following a private eye who investigates the suicide of a fading porn star in Los Angeles. To celebrate the film and the era, iam8bit is releasing a collector's edition vinyl of the soundtrack. Vinyl is cool as is, but this set includes a few extra goodies to tantalize collectors!

THE NICE GUYS collector's edition vinyl includes:

  • 2xLP (2 records)
  • 180-gram Colored Vinyl
  • Featuring 15 Classic Tunes
  • Eye-Popping 3D Centerfold (glasses included)
  • 1 of 6 Double-Sided Pinup Posters
  • Liner Notes by writer/director Shane Black
  • “The Nice Guys” Business Card
  • Adults Only XXX Wrap
  • Includes Digital Soundtrack

The soundtrack includes artists such as The Temptations, Kool & The Gang, Al Green, and Earth, Wind & Fire (click here to check out the full list and pre-order). The estimated shipping date for this is late May and given how well period piece soundtracks are doing these days (GUARDIANS, anyone?), I imagine this will make a cool collector's gift for anyone interested in the era or the film. Besides, it has a nude 3D centerfold! I hear 3D's gonna be a thing!

THE NICE GUYS hits theaters on May 20, 2016.
