Terminator: Genisys arrives on Blu-ray/DVD in November

TERMINATOR: GENISYS attempted to retcon what we all know and love about the first two TERMINATOR films by having John Connor (Jason Clarke) send soldier Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time, who then discovers that Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) is more than prepared to fend for herself, having been raised by a paternal T-800 “Pops” (Arnold Schwarzenegger). The story (d)evolves from there, creating a unique chapter in the Terminator universe. Now you can own the best TERMINATOR film with a made-up word in the title in 2 months' time!

Blu-ray Special Features:

  • Family Dynamics – Casting Terminator Genisys and how the actors filled some of the most iconic roles in cinematic history
  • Infiltration and Termination – Go behind-the-scenes to San Francisco and New Orleans in a first-hand look at filming locations
  • Upgrades: VFX of Terminator Genisys – Delve into the revolutionary visual effects behind the movie’s incredible action sequences

For those of you who are into collecting your 3D Blu-rays (I'm actually in that camp), there will also be a 3D iteration released with the above special features intact, as well as the 2D version of the film. The DVD will not include those features, however, and will only contain the film in standard definition and the shame of not getting with the times. If you've yet to see this flick, our review from Chris Bumbray sums the flick up perfectly, in that "the only way this movie could really work is for younger audiences who have never seen the first two films." I think he was being generous.

TERMINATOR: GENISYS will hit Blu-ray/DVD on November 10, 2015.
