As he has been doing since X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, director Bryan Singer has been dropping little update tidbits about X-MEN: APOCALYPSE via his Instagram account. His latest update gives us a new look at Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner in character as Jean Grey and a set in motion.

The most noticeable thing about Sophie Turner in character has to be her red hair. I was expecting a dye-job for her Jean Grey costume, but it looks like she will keep her fiery locks for her portrayal of the future Phoenix. As for the set shot, it is a quick video of a rumbling locale that cannot easily be identified from the outside.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is chugging along nicely even though we have yet to see the main cast members in any of these shots from Singer. I have high hopes for where this movie is headed and cannot wait for our first look at Oscar Isaac in his Apocalypse costume. After DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, I am invested in Bryan Singer shepherding this franchise for as long as he is able.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will open in theaters on May 27, 2016.
