Finally, here's a movie that tells that old-timey tale about a boy and a girl who love each other, are stoners, and one of them may actually be a lethal sleeper agent capable of dispatching his enemies with a spoon. Enter Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart as the lead stoners and witness some serious shit going down in the first red-band trailer for AMERICAN ULTRA!

Ya know what? This looks pretty damn entertaining if you ask me. It's not gut-busting hilarious, but I think this is Eisenberg in his comfort zone, and he has good chemistry with Kristen Stewart. There was a brief bit in that trailer where she was kicking ass as well, so I'm willing to bet they're both agents. Either way, I'm definitely curious to check this one out and see if Max Landis (CHRONICLE) has written something that lives up to his name.

AMERICAN ULTRA hits theaters on August 21, 2015.
