Black Widow tames Hulk and Tony explains things in new Age of Ultron clips

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Earlier today, we shared an extended clip of the highly anticipated Hulk vs Hulkbuster fight from AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Now, here are two more teases from the Joss Whedon sequel featuring Hulk and Tony Stark but in two very different scenes. First, we have a look at the snowy forest sequence that has Black Widow calming down Bruce Banner in his Hulk form in a way that Betsy Ross was never able to accomplish. Rumors have abounded that there would be a romantic subplot featuring these two and this scene shows it will work wonderfully in execution.

The second clip has the assembled Avengers arguing over the merits of using Loki’s scepter (I would infer from what we know so far). Tony Stark argues that they need the technology to defend against another potential otherworldly threat while everyone else seems to disagree. The scene reminded me a great deal of the team arguing aboard the helicarrier in the first film but this does not feel like a rehash. In fact, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON feels fresh in every glimpse we have seen so far.

I know many of you are avoiding these clips so that you can go into the movie fresh, but totally at just about five minutes of footage, these scenes deliver more hype for a movie that is bordering on overload and I am just fine with that. Visually, the movie looks crisper and bigger than it’s predecessor without going over the top. This could be the rare sequel that improves upon the original in every way.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens in 17 days on May 1st.
