Julie Delpy and Linda Cardellini confirmed for Avengers: Age of Ultron

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

There's so much news that breaks on an April 1st that sometimes you have to wait for the dust to settle in order to make sense of it all. Thankfully, DEADPOOL being rated R is the real deal. Also seemingly the real deal is that two well-known actresses have made it under the radar in regards to AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. As you've undoubtedly noticed, that would be Julie Delpy and Linda Cardellini.

Delpy has made a name for herself in writing and starring in the bulk of Richard Linklater's BEFORE trilogy alongside Ethan Hawke. Linda Cardellini won the hearts of everyone during her brief stint in Freaks and Geeks, and is now playing one of the lead characters in the Netflix original series Bloodline (which was just renewed for a second season). While they have been cofirmed to be in the film, their roles remain a mystery. I want to say that their roles can't amount to too much given that they're not taking part in much screen time, but it's interesting to note that we only found out about these two a month before the film hits theaters. Regardless of how small the roles are, I'm confident they'll be pivotal ones.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON hits May 1st.
