The IMAX screenings are underway showing the final two episodes of HBO’s Game of Thrones fourth season and while that’s exciting and awesome, so is this first trailer for season 5! This trailer is packed with fantastic action and hints at great storylines coming our way. I will avoid spoilers for both the show and the books but we do see that Tyrion has escaped King’s Landing with the help of Varys. Finally, the show has given us something to be happy about.

This season should hold many surprises for readers and non-readers since showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff are starting to break away from George R.R. Martin‘s books more than ever.
