The third season of HANNIBAL is coming, but don't expect it for several more months as NBC has decided to air the Bryan Fuller-created series in the summer. But, to tide us over and build anticipation for the return of Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, and Gillian Anderson with a new trailer for the show.

While HANNIBAL has not been a ratings blockbuster, the series has built a dedicated fanbase who follow this new take on the novels by Thomas Harris. In fact, watching this trailer you will notice a combination of story elements from the books RED DRAGON, HANNIBAL, and HANNIBAL RISING, all blended together in a new way.

It is hard to tell from this trailer, but it looks like Laurence Fishburne's fate will be revealed early in the season. We also know actress Nina Arianda has joined the show as Will Graham's wife Molly. If you are a viewer of HANNIBAL, you know that means either a time jump is coming or the wedding won't take place until later in the season.

HANNIBAL is a damn good show and if you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend you catch up before NBC begins airing the third season in Summer 2015.
