New Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer will feature Han, Leia, and Luke

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Back in December, a rumor circulated that the next look at STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS would come partnered with Disney’s first big release of the year. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is slated to hit screens everywhere on May 1, 2015 and new sources seem to confirm that is when we will get the next glimpse at J.J. Abrams‘ voyage to a galaxy far, far away.

While we could get little hints of what is to come in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS, these new sources claim that the second teaser will include our first look at Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew as Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca. The first teaser was said to have been put together to appease fans despite the majority of the effects work not having been completed yet. That would explain the lack of any scenes in outer space.

This new teaser will hopefully not give too much away but continue to build the anticipation we got with the first one. Hopefully a little dialogue or a better look at the new characters will accompany the return of our Original Trilogy favorites. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens a week earlier in Europe and Australia, so the teaser could be online before May 1st, especially with STAR WARS Celebration taking place in Anaheim in mid-April. Of course you know we will have the trailer right here for you as soon as it is available.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS opens on December 18, 2015.
