To bring you your fix of the actor with the voice of gold, writer/director Stephen Belber has your back in his latest film, MATCH. The story revolves around a Juilliard professor played by Patrick Stewart who is then interviewed by a woman (Carla Gugino) and her husband (Matthew Lillard) for her dissertation on the history of dance in 1960's New York. However, it becomes increasingly clear that there are ulterior motives to the couple's visit. The film is based on the Tony-award winning play and a trailer is here to give you a taste of what's in store.

It's hard to argue with what critics have to say about Stewart's performance, as the man can do no wrong (acting wise). It's interesting to see Matthew Lillard in there, although I've read that Ray Liotta once played his role in the Broadway iteration. Shame they couldn't give him, but Stewart and Gugino seem like a great . . . match? Patrick Stewart help me.

MATCH will see an on-demand and limited theatrical release on January 14, 2015.
