Many may wonder how Ben Affleck worked up the nerve to step into the detective boots of Batman in Zack Snyder's upcoming BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. After all, those are some mighty big boots to fill and after the care and attention Christopher Nolan put into the character, who knows how he may turn out in Zack Snyder's hands. We can speculate all we want about the end result, but perhaps we have the answer as to why Ben felt ballsy enough to take on the role . . . and it may have everything to do with his Affleck.

David Fincher's GONE GIRL focuses on Nick Dunne (Affleck), who reports that his wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), has gone missing. The all-seeing media spotlight reveals lies, deceit and strange behavior that has everyone questioning whether or not Dunne killed his wife. Evidently that spotlight also finds its way into the bathroom while the man's taking a (evidently) cold shower.

Alright, so maybe no one's going to pay $15 for 3D IMAX penis, but Affleck takes it in good stride. Who knows? It may be blink-and-you-missed-it kind of penis because the MPAA is deathly afraid of them. Regardless, it seems Ben is willing to go the extra inches for a role, and that kind of dedication has to appreciated. David Fincher seems to paint his characters in very little light, and one wonders if that will extend to the character's genitalia. Or not.

GONE GIRL and all the penises found therein will hit theaters on October 3, 2014.

If Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross haven't scored this scene yet, might I suggest some NSFW Jon Lajoie?
