Last month we let you know that Lionsgate was re-releasing SAW for its 10th anniversary; we now have a nice trailer and poster to hype the occasion! The film is coming back to theaters nationwide for a one-week run starting on Friday, October 31st with select screenings beginning Thursday night, October 30th. I’ve mentioned previously how the series lost me after the third or fourth sequel, but the original still remains a horror favorite.
I think a lot of you would agree SAW deserves a spotlight again, albeit for a brief moment. My advice would be to take someone you know hasn’t seen the movie and doesn’t know the ending; could be a fun time for sure.
A brief synopsis for our novice SAW viewers:
With a dead body lying between them, two men wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who’s been nicknamed “Jigsaw”. The men must follow various rules and objectives if they wish to survive and win the deadly game set for them.
