If you're not that familiar with the Captain America comics, you might not know that much about Sharon Carter/Agent 13. Emily VanCamp is playing the character in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, and she recently told MTV News Marvel has future plans for her Sharon Carter. There are a few mild spoilers in the interview, so if that's not your thing, you'll probably want to avoid her comments (and the video) below.

"They're just sort of planting the seed for this character. I think Marvel likes to sprinkle little bits of things for fans, and anyone who is a 'Captain America' fan will know that Agent 13 is Sharon Carter. The fact that Cap doesn't know that yet is very interesting, and a fun little thing for them to play with."
Sharon Carter plays a big part in several significant storylines from the Captain comics, including one that involves finding a 1950's era Captain, which was recently teased as a possible story arc for CAPTAIN AMERICA 3. Carter was also at one point the Executive Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. during Nick Fury's absence. Very interested in seeing what Marvel is going to do with the character.
