Vin Diesel has announced on his Facebook page that FAST AND FURIOUS 7 will be hitting theaters on April 10, 2015. The actor posted the news with a new picture from the film, featuring himself and the late Paul Walker.

The last scene we filmed together…

There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come…Fast and Furious 7 will be released…April 10th 2015!

P.s. He'd want you to know first…

Production on FAST AND FURIOUS 7 was put on hold earlier this month, shortly after Paul Walker's tragic death. There aren't any details on how Universal will be moving forward with the seventh film in the series without Walker, but last week a rumor surfaced that his brother Cody might be used as a stand-in for uncompleted (or new) scenes that would have featured the actor. No word on if this is the studio's plan for FAST AND FURIOUS 7, but I'm sure more information will be released in the near future.
