I’m always good for a Jason Statham flick. He is a solid action star, one that I will gladly support even when it’s straight to video. There is just something about his badassery that is worth watching, even when the movies aren’t so great. Thankfully, HOMEFRONT for me is one of the good ones. I’m a sucker for revenge pics and when Statham is protecting his little girl from a psycho James Franco, there is nothing better. For sure this won’t please everybody, but I had a blast. Did I mention the film also stars Winona Ryder!?! I was in from the beginning!
Not only do I love watching Mr. Statham, I love interviewing him even more. He is charming as f*ck and really one of my favorite guys on the planet. When I sat down with him and his young and very talented co-star Izabela Vidovic, it was an absolute pleasure. We talked about playing a father and daughter on-screen and I found out which of Statham’s catalogue Izabela was allowed to watch. For me, HOMEFRONT is tons of action fun and I loved the pairing of these two. If you are itching for another Statham action flick, HOMEFRONT opens on November 27th at a theatre near you!
