Jason Flemyng is auditioning for a role in Star Wars: Episode VII and posts a photo from the script

Another actor has emerged as a candidate for a role in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII. Jason Flemyng, best known for his parts in LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, and THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON has revealed that he is auditioning for a part in J.J. Abrams sequel to George Lucas‘ immortal franchise. Now, unlike Saoirse Ronan or the others who have merely talked about going for roles in the first film in Disney’s epic Lucasfilm acquisition, Flemyng went the extra step and shared a glimpse at what he has in his possession.

Pint of Stella and ” Star Wars” script! That’s me sorted till 5!

Followed quickly by this clarification:

Let me clarify!!! AUDITION!!!

I like Flemyng but he doesn’t strike me as someone that would even have popped on my radar for a part in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII which may be why he is perfect for a role. Flemyng does seem like a poor man’s Rhys Ifans, but he does have the stature to make a good villain or hero.

What is interesting is that Jason Flemyng‘s script page is on the highly secure red paper to avoid it falling into the wrong hands, but it also seems to be just a single page. We known that Lawrence Kasdan and J.J. Abrams are still writing, but there is clearly headway that has been made.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII opens on December 18, 2015.
