Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past plays the teaser for the trailer game

JoBloJoBlo

Not to be outdone by CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER’s big trailer moment today, Fox has released an Instagram teaser of the trailer for director Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, which gives you more than enough incentive to check it out when the whole enchilada drops. If the final trailer is anything like what they showed at SDCC, then I will wager that it will shoot to the top of most fanboys/girls lists in a heartbeat. Yes, yes, we all hate these damn teaser for trailers, but when it comes to awesome shit like this I can take it in stride.

Check it:

Singer is taking some ambitious steps with the X-universe with this sequel, blending X-MEN: FIRST CLASS with the prior X-films to forge the kind of time-bending tales that have populated the books since their inception (the current Battle of the Atom storyline is proof positive that the concept is alive and well). I know we’re all excited for the nerdgasm apocalypse that is 2015, but with these latest trailers (and more to come as we head into the holiday season) it’s evident that 2014 ain’t no slouch either.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST opens on May 23, 2014.
