Sam Mendes reportedly locked down for Bond 24 and 25

JoBloJoBlo

We went from Sam Mendes stepping away from Bond 24 for his theater pursuits to now possibly being locked down for both sequels.

Showbiz411.com is reporting that Mendes is locked in to helm Bond 24 after some “exhaustive negotiations”. The thinking here is that even though Mendes wanted to keep his theater commitments, the success of SKYFALL and not to mention the huge pay check were something he couldn’t turn away from.

I completely enjoyed SKYFALL and love the work of Mendes so this is good news in my opinion.

Just in case you were wondering if Adele would be back to sing the next theme, there is currently nothing on the table. The singer is dedicated to her follow-up to 21.
