IMAX poster for Iron Man 3 puts all the pieces together into one new image

Following on the heels of their previous campaigns, the IMAX poster for IRON MAN 3 features a collection of the previously released posters photoshopped into one collected image.  This isn’t anything new, really.  Most studios have a set batch of images that they use across all marketing platforms that are modified in various ways, but still part of a single stock campaign.  Shit, we’ve been seeing the same art recycled for G.I. JOE: RETALIATION for more than a year (really guys?), which has gotten old fast.  Thankfully, the IRON MAN 3 art is pretty damn solid and fits the mold of the sequel well.  As much as I dig the character one-sheets it’s always cool to see the “final” image all put together.

Check it out:

Yeah, so, I guess I’ll go see IRON MAN 3.  If I don’t have anything better to do.  Seriously, though, April and May can’t get here fast enough, as Hollywood has starved us good movies for three months now.  OBLIVION and IRON MAN 3 will be like a cold drink of water after a long journey through the desert.

IRON MAN 3, starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, William Sadler, James Badge Dale, and Jon Favreau, opens in IMAX 3D on May 3, 2013.
