The rumor machine of STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is a vicious beast that is tearing through the Interwebs, which was to be expected.  Everyone from top to bottom has seemingly been rumored to have some kind of involvement at one point or another and the question has rolled off of interviewers tongues everytime an actor, actress, or filmmaker has been put in front of them, like clockwork, asking the same basic comment; “Would you?”

Being the hottest project on the books, the casting of the next trilogy, including potential filmmakers for sequels or spinoffs is a source of great debate and speculation.  With so much unconfirmed, we’re all left to our own imaginations, which makes for some compelling possibilities.  As such, Total Film has made a compilation of reactions from various stars and filmmakers, giving their two cents on whether or not they’d like to be a part of the burgeoning STAR WARS universe or not.  There are some hilarious (and cringe-worthy) reactions from the likes of Joss Whedon, Jason Statham, Eli Roth, Nicholas Hoult, Jai Courtney, Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Williams, and Melissa McCarthy

Enjoy:

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is set to blow up the world sometime in 2015 (or 2016).
