Director on the project, Matt Reeves has worked with Russell before on the WB show, FELICITY. Is that taking you back? The series ran from 1998 to 2002. Reeves was a co-creator alongside J.J. Abrams. That was a new one for me. I didn’t watch FELICITY though. That was when I was into DAWSON’S CREEK. Yeah, yeah say whatever you want. Though Abrams is not on this project, he and Russell worked again on 2006s MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2.
Russell will join Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Kodi-Smit McPhee and Gary Oldman. No details were given on Russell’s character in the film.
