New motion poster for Dreamworks’ The Croods is a real window licker

Dreamworks’ upcoming animated pic THE CROODS is growing on me.  Since I have to see most of these animated pics anyway, I’m always hopeful that they’ll be something I can enjoy rather than endure.  THE CROODS, starring Nicholas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke, and Cloris Leachman is slowly building momentum in my mind, especially after the latest trailer, which looks rather decent and fun.

Today, however, we have a new motion poster for the film, which is a clever little thing, complete with yelling, running, fantasy animals, and a window tongue bath.  All in a day’s work.

Check it out:

THE CROODS may not redefine cinema, but it is a pretty-looking little jaunt that will likely be a better time at the movies than one with little blue people making booger and fart jokes.  Fingers crossed, people.  Fingers crossed.

THE CROODS starts the journey on March 22, 2013.
