During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Jamie Foxx talks about a moment in Quentin Tarantino’s next, DJANGO UNCHAINED. In a scene where presumably Kerry Washington is about to receive lashings, Foxx asked for a certain song to start playing.

“When she’s about to get- When that’s about to happen everybody is in a solemn place, and I ask for them to play this song from Fred Hammond.” Foxx then sings a piece of “No Weapon” from Hammond and Radical for Christ. Then he continues, “And when I tell you Quentin Tarantino’s eyepiece filled up with water from the emotions that we got on the set. So when you watch it, it’s going to take you through a gamut of emotions, so when he goes to get his girl…oh my goodness.”
