New TV Spot for The Dark Knight Rises throttles up the banter between Batman and Catwoman

A new TV spot for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES has arrived and features the most back-and-forth banter between Batman and Catwoman we’ve seen thus far and it further clarifies that the two will, in fact, be working together at some point in the film.  Christopher Nolan’s Batfilms aren’t heavy on humor, but certainly have their moments and it’s nice to see that THE DARK KNIGHT RISES isn’t going to be completely doom-and-gloom.

Ouch:

The more I see, the more excited I get.  I have a feeling that this film is going to deliver one of the most satisfying conclusions of any trilogy.  That’s a bold statement, but it’s just a gut feeling.  I think there is a simmering doubt from some who feel that it won’t live up to the hype with the absence of Ledger’s Joker or the inclusion of Hathaway as Catwoman, etc.  I get the opposite feeling.

We are about three weeks out at this point and anticipation couldn’t be higher.  Remember when we were three weeks out from THE AVENGERS?  I’m gettin’ that old feelin’ again…

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES opens on July 20, 2012.
