Olivia Wilde joins the cast of Spike Jonze next untitled film

JoBloJoBlo

In news that would have been passed over had it not been for a heads up via /Film, it seems that Olivia Wilde has a part in Spike Jonze next film.

She is joining Amy Adams, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara and Samantha Morton in the untitled film about a man who falls in love with a “Siri-like” voice. Of course since her name was just dropped in the list with her co-stars then there was obviously no details on the role. The details we’ve gotten are that Phoenix is the guy that falls in love with the voice.

There’s nothing else to note other than the fact that the international rights have been picked up by Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures. Ellison is the one who helped fully fund these films: Paul Thomas Anderson’s THE MASTER, Bennett Miller’s FOXATCHER and Kathryn Bigelow’s ZERO DARK THIRTY.
