Cool Videos: Could Back to the Future drive an actor insane?

JoBloJoBlo

BACK TO THE FUTURE is one of the seminal movies from my childhood. I remember watching the original on VHS and seeing the second and the third in the theater on opening day. It is a classic and will always remain part of pop culture.

But, what if there was a reboot of the BACK TO THE FUTURE franchise? As ill-advised a move as I think that would be, it begs an interesting discussion. Who could fill Marty McFly’s shoes? Who could play a Doc as perfectly as Christopher Lloyd? And, most importantly, would the car still be a DeLorean?

This short film below tries to answer the first question. It is an audition for the role of Marty McFly in this theoretical reboot. Stuck one one particular line of dialogue, the actor’s audition begins to spiral out of control. Pretty damn funny.

After you check it out, feel free to comment below with your opinions on a BACK TO THE FUTURE reboot. Would you be interested if it were to actually happen?
