The new trailer for MEN IN BLACK III is here and gives us a better look at what to expect from the third film in the series. It’s pretty much more of the same, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing (and possibly a good thing for fans of the series).

It looks like it’ll be a fun film, although shooting with an unfinished script still looms over the project like a raincloud. Yeah, we all know that on-set rewrites, etc., happen all the time on big-budget flicks but when you start a movie like this with a shell of a script it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. But, hey, IRON MAN turned out okay, right? Guess we’ll see how the Men in Black come out.
Here’s the synopsis:
In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.
MEN IN BLACK III opens in 2D and 3D on May 25th, 2012.
