Several character-posters for BATTLESHIP arrived online today, and from what I can tell, this is a movie about people who continue to turn their backs away from big, white meteors that are falling from the sky.
We also get a good look at the aliens of the film, as well as a tease of Rihanna’s sweet, sweet booty! You think it is a coincidence that she is the only one turned in a profile shot?
While these posters are slick, the film still faces an uphill battle(ship) against critics of the film that is based on a Hasbro board game. Note to Universal’s marketing team: maybe you shouldn’t use “From Hasbro” as part of the trailer.
BATTLESHIP heads to U.S. theaters on May 18th, 2012. Now, why can’t we have a movie with Brooklyn Decker that is based on Twister?
