Elizabeth Banks is the perfect mix of beauty, charm and wit. She has given some wonderful performances including such films as ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, OUR IDIOT BROTHER and THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN. Yet her talent extends to the dramatic as well, which is why it is a treat to see her take on the troubled Lydia Mercer in the new action thriller MAN ON A LEDGE.
I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with this talented actress before, so I was looking forward to going into this particular character with her. She talked about the challenges of the real life police psychologist. She even shared a couple of stories, one of which was particularly heartbreaking.
With the upcoming HUNGER GAMES, Elizabeth is sure to garner a brand new kind of fan base. And thankfully, fans of the books can look forward to her sure to be terrific take on Effie Trinket.
