Interview: The Grey stars Frank Grillo and James Badge Dale!

JoBloJoBlo

Frank Grillo and James Badge Dale star in Joe Carnahan’s THE GREY alongside Liam Neeson, Dermot Mulroney and Dallas Roberts. You would think this close knit group of actors might not be as welcoming to outsiders after the experience of shooting this film, but you’d be wrong. The second I walked in to talk to Frank and James, the subject of Lynyrd Skynyrd came up thanks to my hat and it was immediately clear that these guys were downright excited to chat.

Both Grillo and Dale have equally impressive resumes. Yet aside from Neeson, THE GREY’s cast consists of a number of actors known for their work and not their “celebrity.” That is something that makes the film work as well as it does. All of these gentlemen feel like the real deal, and they give their characters such an honest and human element making it easy to connect with them. THE GREY features an amazing cast in a very powerful and thought-provoking tale of mortality and the struggle to survive.

THE GREY opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
