Alright, I’m done. I can’t do this anymore. This is the last reboot I can write about before I officially jump off of something really high, or grab an axe like Patrick Bateman up there and go on a murder spree.
What’s funny is that this image above is used on the internet as a meme to indicate when you want to kill something horrible or idiotic. Now we’re getting really meta as the horrible and idiotic thing is a remake of AMERICAN PSYCHO itself.
I’m not joking, this is really happening. Despite being an amazing black comedy and psychological thriller, Lionsgate will not leave well enough alone and are making their own adaptation of the 1991 book by Bret Easton Ellis.
Noble Jones is set to write and direct, a man who is an alleged protégé of David Fincher. No way to make your feature film debut than by making a movie that absolutely no one believes should exist.
