When you think of scientists working on reanimating the dead, you think of a crazysexy babe like Yvonne Strahovski, right? Good! Strahovski has signed onto Lionsgate’s I, FRANKENSTEIN to play just such a scientist alongside Frankenstein’s monster (Aaron Eckhart).
Strahovski’s scientist is enjoying her work attempting to reanimate dead human flesh, when she’s recruited by an evil demon (Bill Nighy) to create an army of the undead. The only man who can stop them? Frankenstein! And his friend, the Queen of the Gargoyles (Miranda Otto). No, I’m not making this up!
With her run on “Chuck” coming to an end, Strahovski is looking to make a shift to the big-screen, following up on her role in THE KILLER ELITE. She just wrapped the Seth Rogen/Barbra Streisand comedy MY MOTHER’S CURSE and will go on to shoot FRANKENSTEIN early next year in Australia for writer/director Stuart Beattie.
