Is anyone going to take the damn lead in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES? I figured this would be a no-brainer. F*ck, I’ll do it. I got an award for acting in middle school. I also love zombies. That qualifies me, right?
While it’s obvious that I won’t be taking the lead in the film, there’s a rumor that Blake Lively has been approached to play Elizabeth Bennet. Source of the site, Twitch.com say that she has met with the director, Craig Gillespie (FRIGHT NIGHT) and was offered the role but no one knows if she would be down for it. If the news is true, I bet she’ll take it.
Four ladies have already turned down this part: Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, and Mia Wasikowska. Portman is still on board as a producer.
