Gary Ross provides commentary for his own teaser to The Hunger Games

JoBloJoBlo

Unless you’re a fan of the novels, it’s quite possible that you didn’t find the recent teaser for THE HUNGER GAMES to be terribly exhilarating.

But director Gary Ross wants to assure you (whether you’re a reader of the series or not) that there are still “epic” and “powerful” things to come, and that you just haven’t seen them yet because the movie is, well, still filming.

In particular Ross cites the Capitol, the Mutts, Gale’s larger role, and Stanley Tucci’s performance as flamboyant host Caesar Flickerman as highlights you’ll just have to anticipate and imagine for now. Check out his full commentary with MTV below.

Meanwhile, JoBlo reader ‘Katniss Pajamas’ pointed out that there’s already what would appear to be a viral site for the movie online at TheCapitol.pn, where content is being revealed via “District registration”.
