Samuel L. Jackson makes death look cheesy in the trailer for Arena

JoBloJoBlo

Samuel L. Jackson may be a fine actor with A-list credentials and capabilities, but he’s also more than happy to lend (or sell) his presence to lower-budget projects that may or may not go straight to video.

On that note, check him out as the ostentatious overlord of the “Death Games” in the trailer for the upcoming action flick ARENA, which stars TWILIGHT beefstick Kellan Lutz as a dude forced to enter combat against lethal foes and what appears to be some kind of shoddy CG backdrops.

The movie is directed by FX guy Jonah Loop (TRANSPORTER 2, A PERFECT GETAWAY) from a script by Tony Giglio (DEATH RACE 2, obviously). Daniel Dae Kim, Nina Dobrev, James Remar and Derek Mears also participate and/or embarrass themselves.
