Interview: Hanna star Saoirse Ronan!

Saoirse Ronan is one of the best young actors today. Strike that, she is one of the best actors period. Her work in ATONEMENT and THE LOVELY BONES is astonishing. Yet it is her latest feature that captures a very complex and exciting character, one which is by far the best example of “girl power” we’ve seen in awhile. As the title role of HANNA, Ronan brings this anti-hero to glorious life.

When JoBlo.com sat down with her, it was surprising to see what a sweet and delightful young woman she was. She is disarmingly funny and very easy to chat with. It is her charisma that makes her a wonderful choice to tackle such an intense film as Hanna. You have to feel for the girl and understand why she does what she does. Saoirse makes it easy for the audience to do so.
