If there’s ever a time to watch Jimmy Kimmel live, it’s right after the Oscars as he’s bound to have some good skits since every A-lister on earth is in town and has just appeared on his channel, ABC.
Last year we got a trailer for IRON MAN 2, but this year Kimmel stuck with comedy skits rather than premiering anything of that sort. I have to say he had some pretty good gets, and you can check his out two best bits below.
The first stars Tom Hanks as an overenthusiastic pageant dad in a Toddlers and Tiara’s spoof, and it’s pretty damn hilarious. Watch all the way to the end for a surprise cameo by a Hanks cohort. I really do miss Tom Hanks making movies that aren’t Dan Brown-inspired.
The second skit is a workout video that assembles what I think has to be the hottest collection of movie stars to ever appear in one place. It’s a fictional workout program by “Jimmy K” called the “Hottie Body Hump Club” and he’s managed to get Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara, Minka Kelly, Kelly Ripa, Jessica Biel, Emily Blunt, Jessica Alba and Eva Longoria. I love how the final star featured is Lindsay Lohan, presumably because it’s a miracle she’s in front of a camera forming complete sentences.
It’s not quite as funny as the Hanks skit, but the better option if you want to watch a bunch of hot actresses hump exercise balls. I particularly admire Jessica Biel’s vigor. Check both spots out below:
