Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand going on a road trip for My Mother’s Curse

JoBloJoBlo

Presumably thoroughly satisfied with her role as “wacky mom” in the last two Focker movies, Barbara Streisand is staying in the acting game with MY MOTHER’S CURSE, which stars her and Seth Rogen on a mom-and-son cross country road trip.

THE PROPOSAL’s Anne Fletcher is directing based on the script by CARS’s Dan Fogelman who drew from his own experiences with his mother. The official plot is that “the story follows an inventor (Rogen) who invites his mother on a cross-country trip as he tries to sell his new product while also reuniting her with a lost love.” Jewish mother-son enclosed space comedy? That’s gold, Jerry! Gold!

Shooting is schedule to begin this spring, and I’m wondering if Rogen is planning to keep his new svelt(ish) physique going after GREEN HORNET. I’m not sure if witty banter between the two will be hilarious, or as annoying as it would be to actually be stuck in a car with Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand. Unless she was singing, then it would be magical.
