Alright, so technically, what you’re about to see is a video game, remade in the style of another video game, but it’s fashioned in the form of a movie trailer, and if anyone should appreciate it, it’s JoBlo.com readers, so I deemed it a worthy candidate for “Cool Videos” today.
It’s pitched as a new trailer for a Super Mario Bros movie, but without budget for actors and sets, the entire thing has been made in what appears to be Grand Theft Auto IV machinima.
It’s just plain awesome. Brothers Luigi and Mario team up to rescue Peach from the evil Bowser, but do so with assault weapons instead of you know, jumping. Also making appearances are Yoshi, Toad, Koopas, Goombas, Hammer Bros, Bullet Bill and more.
