Even though 21 JUMP STREET is being made into a seemingly ill-conceived film with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, that’s no reason it’s original star can’t show up briefly.
And there’s really no one in Hollywood more good natured than Johnny Depp, who has sometimes been known to dress up in full Jack Sparrow gear in everyday life just to make kids smile.
“We wrote a cameo for him, so we hope he does it,” Jonah Hill said. Depp’s response? Speaking to MTV:
“I’ve said I’m into it, but no one’s actually approached me…I’m in. I’m in “I think it’d be pretty easy.”
So uh, someone needs to talk to someone here and get this happening before he starts shooting a movie in Zimbabwe or something. One request Jonah, please somehow, some way, make him wear that same outfit.
