“We have exorcised the demons!”
Last night’s Scream Awards were certainly odd to say the least. The best thing that happened was seeing Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd together again. Worst thing? Watching Marilyn Manson act like a jackass.
Another thing that was really cool was seeing Anthony Hopkins. The guys has this amazing voice. I’d listen to him read the instruction manual to a 1986 Toyota Camry. It was Hopkins job to introduce the trailer for his upcoming film, THE RITE.
If you like a good exorcism movie, this might peek your interest. This true story comes from the book of the same name by Matt Baglio. He goes deep into the world of possession, demons, the Devil, and exorcism. Baglio got to spend time with the person who inspired the character that Hopkins plays. While the name of the priest was changed for the film, his experiences were all chronicled by Baglio for the book. THE RITE was directed by Mikael Håfström (1408, DERAILED).

Synopsis:
