Mia Wasikowska meets a guy with a ghost friend in the trailer for Gus Van Sant’s Restless

JoBloJoBlo

The last film we got from Gus Van Sant was the biopic, MILK back in 2008. Now we have a trailer from his next effort, RESTLESS starring Mia Wasikowska and Henry Hopper.

Henry is the 20-year old son of the late Dennis Hopper. Another celeb kiddo is in this as well, Schuyler Fisk daughter of Sissy Spacek.

This is actually the first I’m hearing about it. I haven’t really seen any news for this film. Guessing if there was any it flew under my radar. Besides MILK, the last Van Sant film I liked was LAST DAYS. Although it took me several watches to really like it. RESTLESS seems like a real downer though. Despite this, I would like to see it. It’s also nice to see Fisk in something else, since the last movie I saw her in was ORANGE COUNTY.

Take a look at the synopsis and trailer below.

Synopsis: “The story of a terminally ill teenage girl who falls for a boy who likes to attend funerals and their encounters with the ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot from WWII.”
