The Alamo Drafthouse gets a special screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and this poster

Edgar Wright feared the fierce Texas heat before his arrival, taking to his twitter to say, “I am hearing Houston is 110 degrees. I may explode.”

He also said that he may die from a delicious red velvet cake shake. Excruciating heat and sucking cakes through straws. Welcome to Texas!

Another cool thing about the director of SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD coming to Texas is the fact that he will be at the Alamo Drafthouse this evening for a special event screening of the film. Some of the cast will be there for the screening as well.

The last cool thing on the list is this poster created for the event by Mondo Tees artist Martin Ansin. The poster will be sold at the screening, then tomorrow online at the Mondo Tees site in small quantity. They will also debut a second variant of the poster on the site in the same day.

Enjoy the poster as well as this photo taken by Mark Webber, who plays Stephen Stills in the film.
