Sometimes I feel like it might be a bit creepy that I was such a fan of Mark Romanek’s ONE HOUR PHOTO. For those of you who saw the film it’s unsettling and creepy as hell. However, Romanek’s direction was utterly beautiful in its simplicity. I’m thinking that this film, NEVER LET ME GO will top that.
Back in June, the trailer for the film came out and literally gave me chills. I’ve never read the book by Kazuo Ishiguro, but perhaps I should. Today a new poster for the film has debuted and it is wonderful. This is one I wouldn’t mind framing and putting on my wall.
Official Synopsis:
Kathy (Carey Mulligan), Tommy (Andrew Garfield) and Ruth (Keira Knightley) live in a world and a time that feel familiar to us, but are not quite like anything we know. They spend their childhood at Hailsham, a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. When they leave the shelter of the school and the terrible truth of their fate is revealed to them, they must also confront the deep feelings of love, jealousy and betrayal that threaten to pull them apart.
