Steven Seagal will smack around criminals on the small screen

JoBloJoBlo

We’ve seen Steven Seagal tear through henchmen and villains on the big screen and in countless straight-to-DVD movies, and then slap the cuffs on real-life perps on A&E’s series “Lawman”.

Now he’s circling back to theaters with an appearance in Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE. Where to go from there?

Back to busting heads on the tube. According to Moviehole, the aging aikido master will follow in the footsteps of Chuck Norris, starring in a new action/crime series called either “Southern Justice” or “True Justice”.

In the show, “Seagal plays Elijah Kane, the leader of an undercover group of cops that chases down the bad guys in the Seattle, Washington area.”

The series will shoot in Vancouver, with an initial 13 episodes.
