No, I’m not judging the movie before it comes out with my title, that’s literally the logline of the project straight from Johnny Knoxville, who also adds “We’re going to take the same 3D technology James Cameron used in AVATAR and stick it up Steve O’s butt.”
It’s highly unlikely that they will actually be using any James Cameron tech here, as that shit ain’t exactly super portable, but sure, maybe for a shot or two if they have the camera back to him by 5.
There is a short list of movies I’d actually care about seeing in 3D. JACKASS certainly isn’t anywhere near that list, but hey, a trend’s a trend right? Yahoo! has debuted the first still from the film which you can see below, and shows the kind of 3D stunts we might expect from the film.
