It was just a few days ago that we heard Marion Cotillard and Colin Farrell would be starring in David Cronenberg’s COSMOPOLIS, and now, via a two page spread in Variety, we have our first glimpse at the project.
Yeahh, so Farrell and Cotillard are nowhere to be found, as the film hasn’t started shooting yet, but it is a rather cool piece of art. Farrell plays a mogul on a cross-Manhattan journey for a haircut, but during his limo ride he manages to lose his entire fortune thanks to some misbehavior of the Yen.
This is a long ways off as it doesn’t start filming until March 2011 (Cronenberg is doing A DANGEROUS METHOD) first, but it’s certainly one to keep an eye on.
