So here’s the first trailer for the Christina Ricci/Liam Neeson thriller, AFTER.LIFE, where Christina Ricci is dead, or not dead, I’m not really sure, and Liam Neeson is evil, or not evil, I’m not really sure about that either. In fact, even after watching this and hearing the synopsis, I’m still not really clear on absolutely anything that’s going on in this entire movie.
Liam Neeson is a mortician who is given Christina Ricci’s recently deceased body. Justin Long is her boyfriend who thinks something’s fishy, and Ricci runs around in a semi-ghost state not really believing that she’s dead, and as it turns out, she might not be?
That’s the best handle I can get on this at the moment, and I can’t say I’m too terribly interested in solving the mystery. Actually, my biggest question about the film revolves around what exactly that period is doing in the title. Periods in titles are suspicious.
