The Griswolds return in Hotel Hell Vacation

JoBloJoBlo

A few months ago, New Line promised/threatened to deliver a new VACATION, a pseudo-sequel that would somehow retain a degree of continuity with the nightmare road trips previously taken by the Griswold clan.

But while that project idles in the garage, a company called Homeaway has already polished the truckster and rounded up original parental units Beverly D’Angelo and Chevy Chase (who never met a commercial opportunity or guest appearance he didn’t like).

The company has a short film/advertisement in the works (intended for Super Bowl Sunday, but obviously this preview blurped early), and who better to illustrate the benefits of proper holiday planning than the Griswolds?
